Transfer window: Robert Lewandowski - Time for a new challenge?

Seven consecutive German titles? Check. Champions League winner? Check. Scored 41 Bundesliga goals in a season to break Gerd Muller's long-standing record? Check.

You name it, Robert Lewandowski has done it at Bayern Munich. It's a partnership which has delivered unrivalled success but, as with anything, could both parties be suffering from having too much of a good thing?

Lewandowski made his desire of joining Real Madrid known in the past. With nothing left to achieve in Germany, and time running out for the 32-year-old to secure a final big-money move, you wonder whether the Poland international will decide to pursue pastures new.

Manchester City may have a thing or two to say about that, with the Premier League champions in the market for a star striker, while Chelsea have also been linked with a £50m bid. It would appear Lewandowski has a big decision to make.
